For some years now they have been using growth factors obtained by the method of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and applied by mesoterapia (wrinkles, elastosis, discromías), subdermal injection (pronounced grooves, depressions cicatriciales, fibrosis), mmixed with fat (such as grafting) or as platelet clot (scars to accelerate the healing process).

In short, we can say that growth factors regulate FCE remodeling epidermis and dermis and they have a profound influence on the appearance and texture of skin. It has been found that topical application or subcutaneous injection of FCE produces strong changes on aging skin: restores skin vitality, increases its thickness, retrieves the elastic consistency, improves vascular flow, stimulating secretions and increasing the smoothness and appearance of the skin. Moreover, thickening never exceeded normal limits of youthful skin, demonstrating its regulatory character. Using PRP allows us therefore treatment with patient’s own tissues (blood centrifuged) and substantially free of risks that can be performed, in most cases, on an outpatient basis.
